Actually the best thing for a hangover is water. Believe me I am a heavy drinker (I average 5 margaritas a day). And when my head hurts I just drink about a gallon of water. After I pee a few times I am strait.

I heard because now your brain is going through withdrawal, that *hair of the dog* is the best as long as you plan on staying home for the rest of the day and this is not an every day occurrence. Just drink a little bit of whatever you were drinking last night to take the edge off of the pain and ween your brain off the alcohol slowly.
Alcohol is very dehydrating. So you need lots of water and the vitamins will help too.

Alcohol flushes all of the water and nutrients from your body; so best bet is to take some vitamins and drink lots of water. Still takes a while to re-coup though.....

Eating something while you drink. The food helps absorb the alcohol. If not at least you got something to woof up in the morning
