What could force a girl to cut her hair short, other than lice or gum in her hair... a friend of mine says she cut her hair cuz paint fell in it... but it made me wonder if there are other things that FORCE someone to cut their hair very short....

Well, I have long hair now but, last year about this time>>>>> chop, chop.... I cut my hair because I was depressed and stressed. At the same time I wanted another look. Actually, me cutting my hair made it grow even longer..................... Check on her/ ask questions/maybe she going threw something. Hope it helps....

Split Ends, Bad Perm, Bad Coloring job, Chemo, Radiation,
I needed to cut my hair short after a perm went bad due to having diabetic type 2. My hair actually was ripping, breaking off. Dried out. Now some 4 month later I am on meds for my disease and my hair is growing back.
There is nothing wrong with short hair.
Its a choice one makes. I intend to keep it short now, plus no more coloring, no more perms. Natural is the safest for me.

Coming from a girl, there's isn't anything really that causes a girl to cut her hair other than what you already mentioned. Maybe she hated her hair anyways..lol..a disease can make your hair fall out and stress, maybe that's the same. But other than that, girls and guys are basically the same...lol...

dandrof defenetly and also like if youh wash ur hair every day like your hair starts falling nd then u might get even bald some hair products can cause something bad to happen to ur hair nd also if youh dye ur hair way to much nd lik that same week ur hair might like even get 3-4 differnt colors also like the lenght that u have ur hair can make a difference

i caught my hair on fire before and a chunk of it fell out so i had to cut it short. Also, my sister cut my hair when she was little so i had to get it cut short. lol.

But girls who don't like their hair (when it gets tangeled or frizzy too much) cut it off, make it shorter or try new things to prevent it. I know someone who had pretty, long, frizzy/curly hair, and she just one day cut it off to about shoulder length, and everybody loved it.

a lost bet, split ends, needing to wear a wig, feeling way too hot in summer, burnt hair, wrongly colored hair, all reasons to cut it VERY short... :)
