Where are your parents? How old are you? He probably needs counceling and attention from your parents. From your side if you can talk to him and I mean talk a lot in superficial and deep stuff all the time, this can release the anger valve. Be there for him, a parent cause it looks the real parents are not very much there. While in a friendly state try to convince him that more talanted nice kids like him do not use this foul language and that people look at the politer kids with more admiration and respect and that he can be one of those. It will talk a lot of effort, believe me it is not easy but you can do it. He has to learn to express his feelings and anger in words and conversation, he needs you to help him in that. What he is doing is a manifestation of accumulations inside, unable to express it and communicate. Help him express himself. If you watch talk shows like operah's and Dr Phil's they will help you a lot and help you in helping him. Some kids need special attention than others other wise they turn into freaks and pschycos. A communication specialist also can help here.

Where are your parents? I would take some soap and wash out his mouth....but then again, it's probably too late for that...maybe a good whipping would help...he's not to old for that one...watch how fast the bipolar leaves when he gets whipped...oh, I forgot, the Government will interviene, no 'spare the rod and spoil the child'...boy, I am glad I don't have a little one now, you'd see a BIG fight over that one.

Your best bet is to encourage your mother to consider taking your brother to a professional for a thorough evaluation. Tell her of your concerns, and also let her know that she needs to step in to protect you from verbal and (threatened) physical abusse.

I believe you need to talk to your parents about your concerns. If he is bipolar and untreated that could be harmful to the both of you.
If you don't feel that you can talk to your parents, perhaps another family member (aunt, uncle, grandparent) could help you when talking to your parents.
But, I would definitely tell them.

I would try not getting him mad and stay out his way. Or you could talk to him about it and see why he acts like that towards you or what hes feeling. Maybe theres somthing bothering him.
