how does my poem sound, its kinda short though???!!! there is 2 of them........?

Out there, in strange places,
nowhere to hide,
dont know where my space is.

Out there, you walk alone
miles between us
i cant come home.

Some day, who knows when
if fate allows,
we'll weet again!
2nd poem

In one week, a lifetime can pass
In one day, families shatter like glass
In one hour, time still moves to fast
In one second,we make choices that last

I loved the second one! It is so true, in one instant we could have made the greatest or worst decision of your life. You could watch your whole life go by in seconds, live your live well.
