I would call ahead to find out any specific rules or regulations. There may be dress regulations, package regulations, and/or currency regulations. Being informed about all the details will help you become more calm. Know what time to go, where to park, and the procedures for checking in. Prepare yourself for somethings to talk about and make sure you relax. He is probably under enough stress regardless of the reason why he is there.

Follow your heart. If you choose to visit him. Don't wear shorts or anything that you couldn't wear to work. No tank tops or thin strap shirts or see through items, no cell phones, shoes are also an issue. Never visited a family member in jail. Take your ID and make sure u have no warrants for tickets or anything else. What he is there for you should already know. After the visit u determine if u want to stick it out or move on.

WHY is your b/f in prison?

Call them up and ask about any requirements for visitors.

Look at their website, just google...

PBSP is for SERIOUS crimes!

I would seriously rethink this relationship.

I would probably find somebody who isn't in trouble with the law. He could bring you down with him because of your association with him.

Why do you set your standards so low? I doubt anyone is going to have any advice nor sympathy for you. Expect to see a bunch of jailbirds and convicts. Oh and if you do decide to go which your low-life self probably will, just remind him not to "drop the soap."

How about dumping him, on the phone. Killing two birds with one stone. getting rid of a jailbird, and not having to go to the prison.

Yes, don't go! You do not need this aggravation in your life. No matter how much you love him, he is and will remain a loser! Stick with him and you'll be in the trailer park for the rest of your life. Good luck--
