since we cant choose which body parts to lose the weight off - it just has to be overall weight loss.
find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have lean meat (protein) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min, light weight training
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, past etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)

As you are sitting, pretend you are kayaking. Keep your head forward. Your waist does all the work and your arms just float through the air. Imagine how it would work. Now really go kayaking. It is so fun, peaceful, relaxing. You take in fresh air, see scenery, learn a new sport. I'm personaly over weight and out of shape, but when I go kayaking I go in a shallow lake (not even 3 ft deep) with a guide and if I get too tired he will tow me. The only time he had to tow me was when we were in open water and I was using my arms instead of my waist. When I followed him with the tow I didn't need the tow anymore because I learned how to move with my waist, but we kept the tow rope on just in case. Good luck and have fun. I'm a firm believer in play over exercise. (Though I am out of shape :)

Office exercise: Sit in your chair straight. Make sure your back is firmly against the back of the chair then you put your hands on your thigh and lift your legs alternatingly. Do this for three sets of ten.

Bedroom exercise #1: Do regular sit up by lying flat on the floor. Then put your hands at the back of your head and bent your knees to make a 120 degrees angle between your thighs and your stomach. Then curl up and lift your shoulders from the floor. Don't use your hands to push your head. Repeat this exercise for three sets of eight.

Bedroom exercise #2: Lie flat on the floor and bring up your legs to make 90 degrees angle between your legs and your stomach. Repeat this for three sets of eight.
