It is classified as an amphetamine. There is nothing over the counter that is similar.

Unfortunately not. Adderal is a stimulant, a controlled substance. You must have ADD/ADHD? I have it, and I currently take adderall. I've had ritalin in the past as well. If you have the "inattentive" type of ADD, Strattera is supposed to help. I used to be in great shape because I exercised 3-5 days a week. When I did this, I really didn't need medication. I've had a baby since, and have gotten out of shape. Exercise proves to be an effective way to manage ADD symptoms. I need to get back into my routine.

Adderall is a combination of drugs that is used as a treatment for attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and narcolepsy (a sleep disorder). It belongs to the family of drugs called stimulants. Also called dextroamphetamine-amphetamine. There is no legal equivalent that can be bought in a pharmacy.
Narcolepsy is a sleep disorder marked by sudden, uncontrollable urges to sleep, causing an individual to fall asleep at inappropriate times. Medications and behavioural approaches such as scheduled naps can help control narcolepsy.
You would be advised to consult your doctor if you require detailed medical information.
I add a link that covers ADHD in great detail

Adderall is a controlled substance, so no, there is no over the counter medication that is like it. That is why you can only get one month worth of prescription at a time.

Adderall is a narcotic... Cocaine comes close... Can't buy that at a store... My answer is no... You can buy diet pills that "speed" you up... But they don't make you focus like adderall
