I'm on a diet program called the 6 Week Body Makeover. I can't say enough great things about this plan. Everything you need for a life time of success in staying healthy and keeping the weight off is included in the kit. There's no 'pills' you have to keep buying, or and membership you have to renew to get updates. This plan is actually customixed for your specific body type and motabolism.
What made me think to give you the information is that there is a lady in my group (there's a forum for people on the diet to make friends and support each other through it so, you don't feel alone) who had the same issue. The kit comes with the food portion and also toning bands and a cadio plan. The bands are awesome and extremely low impact for all body types and she's found success in loosing inches off her belly.
You can paruse the boards for any and all information and to see that there are people who have found lots of success with this plan. The creator of it is Micheal Thurmond, he does all the makeovers for ABC's ExtremeMakeover show. So, it's 100% legit and remarkable.
I've lost 21 lbs. so far in less than 6 weeks (even with a serious car accident)
Check it out. You can see my profile by looking me up BrookeH...I'm a user of the plan, I don't work for the company or the forum in any capacity, BTW
Good Luck!
oh, yeah...if you don't want to buy a 'program' you can start by drinking at least 64 oz of WATER a day, and eating 6 times a day in 3 hr intervals....eat smart and get your metabolism going....but honestly, the plan is awesome!!!

Sorry, you can only lose fat all over, not in one particular place. What will help the most is abdominal exercises like modified situps and crunches. This will tone the muscles under the abdomen and keep the skin from sagging. After four years, there is probably not going to be a whole lot more skin shrinkage, so you may want to look into a tummy tuck.

Losing fat around the stomach takes time. If you have a fat stomach, the only way you can reduce your fat is by doing aerobic exercises like walking, rowing and swimming. If such exercises are done regularly over a period of time, you will gradually lose weight. More details at http://www.toloseweight.org/losestomachf...

by overall weight loss because we cant choose which body parts to lose the weight off.
find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have lean meat (protein) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min, light weight training
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, past etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)

I had a lot of success with the South Beach Diet. I noticed my stomach was the fastest to shrink the place I lost the most.
