It depends on the college. Some univesities only use A, B, C, D and F for grading. Other colleges have a add a + or a - In this case you are right, this would be a C+

It depends on the grading scale your teacher is using. I have had classes where that (77%) was a D. You need to ask your teacher to make sure. Some scales are 95-100 A, 89-94 B, 83-88 C, 77-82 D, & some are 90-100 A, 80-89 B, 70-79 C, 60-69 D.
Check with teach to make sure!

It depends on your teacher.
The standard issue of a C grade is:
70-72 : C-
73-77 : C
78-79.9 : C+
But some teachers will put 77 as a C+.
It's not really that important whether or not you get the plus, I don't think most colleges factor +'s or -'s into GPA's.

In college some courses are graded entirely on a bell curve system. I've taken tests where 41% = A. I've also taken tests where 85% = C.

depends on the class grading scale, generally speaking a 77 would be a C+, or a 2.3 on a 4.0 scale i think.

It depends.
Most likely it is still a C, with a 78 being a C+
