I have seen plenty of these debates. They share one thing in common. Religious "leaders" so full of themselves they use everything BUT the Bible. They all have rejected it.

Their answers are always wrong so why would anyone expect them to win a debate? Using the truth contained in the Bible would settle things. But they are hypocrites and deserve to lose.

Saw and heard part of it. Most people who believe in a religion do so because their parents brought them up to believe in it. Most atheists in the US were raised in a Christian culture. To be able to clear their minds of its theology generally requires a great deal of intelligence and confidence in oneself. Consequently, atheists, even if you pull them off the streets randomly, tend to be smart as well as good debaters. Christians? Well, I certainly know some very smart Christians. But they tend not to talk about their religion's underlying theology.

proving God may be able to be done without faith but believing takes faith. Proof can only take you so far as to whatever can be formed without free will. It is a person's will to believe whether the proof is anything or not.

As a Christian, I was very disappointed in the Christian representatives. If that's the best they can do, then we should all become Atheists.
