You're comparing gays with gangs?

It is handled. If you get caught being involved in any gang activity it is automatic court martial 30 days brig optional of 3 day bread and water if the CO wishes and automatic Dishonarble discharge. There is no room for gang activity in the military. In the words of my former CO the last thing we need during combat operations is someone deciding that they need to have a gang war. If you can not act like a respectable member of society you will be dealt with.

Did you mean gays?... or gangs?... i cant see how thier'd be gangs in the military... but as for gays i see no problem with don't ask don't tell... if straight men can do ok with women in the military then gay men should be able to handle it too...

i never heard that their are gangs in the military only cliques thats what my husband told me...its like being back in highschool where people form their own groups

Individual units will usually deal with any internal issues that pose a threat to unit cohesiveness. If you bring your pre-enlistment gangsta crap with you into the military, you will be dealt with quickly.. one way or the other.
