I was born and raised in Ohio. I don't think you'll find any "dominant religions." I was Catholic (now atheist), and I had friends who were Protestant (of several types), Jewish, and agnostic. In the ethnic neighborhoods in the larger cities you'll find community-based churches, i.e. in the Polish neighborhoods you'll find a Polish National Catholic church as the anchor of the neighborhood, while a mile away, in the Italian neighborhood, it's the Roman Catholic church. I went to Catholic school in a predominantly Irish neighborhood.
In Ohio there are large numbers of Jews, and in the rural areas you'll find a lot of Amish and Mennonites.
Keep in mind there are 15 million people in Ohio. Finding a dominant religion would be difficult at best. I live in New Hampshire now, and though there are less than one million people here, you would still be hard pressed to find any dominant faith.
America is about diversity.

I wouldn't say there is a dominant religion. Having been born and raised in Central Ohio, I can tell you that you can drive down any street and see a church on every corner and rarely see the same demonination. I would say a lot are non-denom and baptist.

Added: The World Harvest Church is a joke! I live within walking distance of that church. And I don't say this as an atheist either. My husband, a christian, even says they aren't interested in your salvation...they want your money!

Rod Parsley of the World Harvest Church is Christian and Ohio should know they have a force to deal with in this raging prophet. He wrote the book, "Silent No More."

A powerful man of God is this man Rod Parsley. However, I don't live in Ohio, but the World Harvest Church of Columbus, Ohio should answer your question.
