Not everything can be in the Bible. Think of how much that thing would weigh! How could anyone rad all of it let alone understand it?

What is there is for our instruction, so we can benefit from the actions of others. We can imitate some, not go there with the mistakes of others.

We can learn what God wants from us. We know it is worship which is the only thing we can give Him. What use would He have for a Cadillac? But, what way does He want us to worship? Any of us who have been in charge of anything know you must tell people what you expect and see they do it.

The Bible is also the Owner's Manual For Humans. Each year 6,000 self-help books are written. They could all be trashed if people just looked up the Bible on what it says for a good personal and good family life. Such council is the best humans can get. It is not influenced by the latest fads.

After all, who knows more about us than He who made us?

The Trojan Horse is part of pagan "beliefs" and I can definitely see people not believing in it for that reason.

Of course we've found Troy, and the archaeological evidence for the war. In fact the Trojan Horse has more historical verisimilitude than the majority of the bible.

Not only is it a much better story, but it doesn't have the ridiculous talking donkeys and unicorns that the bible does.

Winner: Trojan Horse.

The story of the Trojan Horse is not in the bible. It's in a book called The Odyssey.

The Bible is a set of books, these are books inspired by God, and not necessarily containing all the history of human kind, they do contain, just about every, different dynamic of human kind, and a moral to the human story, and who could forget the son of God, who is the only way to Heaven, the door, some might say, this is where all the children of God go when they die, surrender your life to him now, for the battle has already been won, and the victors are in Heaven.

According to your reasoning, the Bible would also have to contain some reference to the 1960 World Series.

The Odyssey is not a true story, at least not in its entirety. They actually think the Trojan War was a series of many small wars. But it was fought over trade in the Mediterranean and not a woman.
