I'm taking my son to the doctor, and I want to leave some Avon brochures in there and the surrounding offices....

Are they usually okay with this? I don't want to be annoying, and I don't want to get too many "no's"...

whats a good approach?

I would enjoy looking at Avon catalogs. I don't have a rep and like several of the products. Most of the magazines are old and stale anyway.

I would ask first. Mainly because they will throw them away if they don't like it so it would be a waste to leave them without asking. I used to manage a doctor's office and I always went around and threw out odds and ends in the waiting room. I didn't do this to be mean, but I didn't want things to build up in the waiting room. If someone had asked me to put Avon books in the waiting room, I wouldn't have had a problem with leaving them there.

What are you, the Avon Wimp? Maybe you should get a job doing something else if you can't handle putting magazines in an office.

Just ask the receptionist first, but I thing most people would probably assume the catalog had been left behind by another patient unless you leave a whole stack of them.

Good luck with your business.

It's always nice to have things to read and look at while waiting. I say leave them. If the staff doesn't like it, they can through them away...but that's the worst thing that will come out of it.

You need their permission. Ask the receptionist. I suppose if you owned an office, you wouldn't like to have people come in and "litter" your place and you and your staff would have to clean up afterward.

Probably.I once forun one in the ladies bathroom at Taco Bueno! The good part was that there was a plastic bag filled w/ samples next to it!

I guess it depends on the individual doctor, you should ask at the reception desk first.

I wouldn't appreciate myself, since I am highly allergic to scented products, and the scent on the catalog alone might be enough to induce an asthma attack.
