Just think of the things you were able to accomplish given the circumstances.

Thinking "hey, I've done 'this' before and I know I can do it again" is the basis of self confidence.

Even if you're venturing to do something new, just imagine all the difficult things you were able to accomplish and know that you'll be able to succeed in your new venture.

Believe in yourself and your abilities

Start hanging out with friends who think you are a great person. Their enthusiasm for you will start rubbing off on you.
If someone does not like herself, why should anyone else?
