Understand that luck is not of God, which means that if you're depending on luck to see you through, you're not following Christ. I'm not being critical of you--just correcting what may be wrong thinking (which can effect your life). Faith is of God, not luck.
If a lot of bad stuff has been happening, it may be that you're listening to the world, rather than God. Understand that Satan is the prince of the power of the air (Ephesians 2:2). This means that we pick up his essence every day. Because we're not aware of this, we become like him without realizing it. We get jealous, harbor hate in our hearts, tell lies, deceive our friends and families, and alot more. These distractions keep us from being the person God wants us to be. If you want to change the flow of things in your life, stop breathing in the bad air and start becoming more aware of your surroundings, who you associate with, and how you manage your time. Start being patient, instead of anxiously waiting for things to change. Start using your FAITH, rather than depending on luck.
If you feel your problems are more than you can handle, think again. God never gives us more than we can handle. It may be that the things you're going through are designed to enlighten you--to open your eyes. It may be that you're breathing in the bad air, instead of following Christ.

If it is ever the devil - just tell the devil to leave you and your family alone. Say, "Get behind me Satan, I follow Jesus."
He'll flee.
Now trials, we are to count them all joy and go through them and come out a better person from having gone through them.
God wants us to be overcomers and He is putting us through trials to make us stronger.
God doesn't try to kill us. Satan tried to kill you.
Read Ephesians 6 in the Bible. Put on the full armor of God so you can stand against Satan. We are all in spiritual warfare. Satan knows his time is getting short. The spirt of the anti-christ is all around us. You see it constantly on YA.
Stand strong in the Lord my friend and speak "It is written" to demons and the devil and they will flee.

When you do God's will, the devil will tempt you, that is his right, but, remember that you belong to God. Do not give up, endure until the end ? God has work for you.
Jesus came to give us the Truth concerning all our questions about what God the Father, truly has told us.
First Jesus told us that we falsely worship 3 different Gods and that we worship in a false manner. We are to Worship only the Father, who art in heaven, and no one else. Jesus again told us that we are to worship the Father who art in heaven from our hearts, not from our mouths, and in TRUTH.
Jesus then showed us how we are to live our lives, he was the example, the Way of what we needed to do. Jesus then told us to be extra careful concerning Lust, choosing false Gods and doctrines, and about worrying about the life of our bodies.
Jesus again told us that if we are asked to do anything that goes against his teachings we are to seek the kingdom of heaven (promised land) first. The Commands of God have more authority then the Laws of man.

If Jesus is your Lord, then let HIM handle the devil. Sounds to me like you are going through a Joseph experience. Maybe it is time to read that portion of Genesis and personalize it?

satan does try to discourage and destroy the faith, while God allows trials to happen in order to increase our faith. I recommend, just to keep praying and trusting in God. Humbly ask him for forgivness for any sins, and to guide you and give you increased fiath and security. If you're catholic or not, ask THe Blessed Virgin to guide you, because she is our spiritual mother. God bless.

You have been deceived.
God does not initiate, promote, or sponser Evil.
James 1:13
When tempted, no one should say, "God is tempting me." For God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does he tempt anyone;
Stay in God's Word to build up in your maturity in the Lord.
Hebrews 5:12-14
In fact, though by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you the elementary truths of God's word all over again. You need milk, not solid food!
Anyone who lives on milk, being still an infant, is not acquainted with the teaching about righteousness.
But solid food is for the mature, who by constant use have trained themselves to distinguish good from evil.
................................................................................................
The Bible tells us that Jesus is the Exact Representation of God. Jesus went around doing Good to people and delivering them from the Devil.
......................................................................................................
Acts 10:38
How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and power, and how he went around doing good and healing all who were under the power of the devil, because God was with him.
..........................................................................................................
Nowhere in the Bible did Jesus put diseases on people or gave them hard times for their own good.
Jesus is our helper advocate!
Keep your focus on Him!
...........................................................................................................
John 15:6-8
If anyone does not remain in me, he is like a branch that is thrown away and withers; such branches are picked up, thrown into the fire and burned.
If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be given you.
This is to my Father's glory, that you bear much fruit, showing yourselves to be my disciples

Well, if you are literal in your understanding of the Bible, you just *know* good from evil.
That's early in the Bible....first few pages in.
