Down to earth, just happens to have struck it lucky. I am reading her new book right now and she has lived a life of hell. Probably just in the past 10-15 has she got her life on track. She had an abusive husband, suffered from agoraphobia, not being able to leave her home. Started her own small business to make money just so she could feed her boys. Which I will she loves Bobby and Jamie more than life itself. She is far from perfect I have come to find out. One other little thing is that she is a smoker, a little secret she reveals in the book. Wouldn't know it to look at her. And she has quite a mouth on her. But I think people can relate to her and she has a warmth about her.
I personally have met she and her husband, Michael and they are charming people. I will see her again in 3 weeks. I am happy for her and if she has a little money now, well then she has worked for it and deserves it.

Paula Deen became into in her proverbial convenience zone, like many that declare to not be racist, yet undermine those of shade besides. that's the yankee way. not! you're suited, none human beings could use racial slurs besides the undeniable fact that that's difficult to de-software or de-brainwash people who think of it became into o.k. in the 1st place and used it as the thank you to stereotype regardless if it have been genuine or rang genuine of somebody. i won't be in a position to recover from each and all of the comments approximately Paula not asserting the "N" word now. that may not the way it became into stated. regardless of if she did not say the "N" word she has many racially questionable slogans she makes use of each and all of the time and has admitted to that. I too, do not choose her to be marked for a racist, exceedingly if she is basically sorry for what she has performed in the previous or the present, yet one shouldn't think of that your convenience zone habit is totally suited to different human beings the two. you always pay the fee for something that may not suited. you would be able to desire to stand it, very own it, like a champion. in step with danger she would be in a position to. relies upon on no rely if or not she is racist.

I think she is down to earth in real life. But if you read the book, she's gone through hell in her life. She was even scared to walk into a supermarket and had an abusive husband. So I love how far she's come. She's finally having a life and doing what she loves! And if part of that is touring and writing books, more power to her!

She's completely phoney in a down to earth, sincere way. She really pulls that off! I think if she were your friend on a personal level, she would be a dream. Yeah I have to agree with you on the money side, but who could blame her? I like her food, but I already know how to cook like that so I get bored with her show.

i think she's ok, but you're definately right about the $. it seems the more popular she becomes, the more popular she wants to be. and i'm seeing almost as many things with her name on it as martha stewart's. somebody's getting paid! oh,well! i don't like martha stewart, anyway!
