If Office 2007 is already installed, this suggests it is trying to install an additional component. Put the disc in & let it install whatever it's trying to.
(Office 2000 does this & that is trying to install the Office Toolbar, I just let it install & disable it afterwards)

Its not installed properly. Put the disk in and run an install repair.

office 2003 does it to welcome to programing that never works the way you want it too.
BTW: Someone at windows, fix the bug will ya its been 5 years now, its about time.
