God doesn't send religions mankind creates them

Some religions actually say "As man is, God once was. As God is man may become." thus circumventing the non-human father issue. (For bonus points, lets play spot the dogma. Which religion uses that exact quote to spell out that dogma?)

That said, religion and God are all an affront to reason, common sense, and peace. If religion were pulled completely off the earth tonight, all of the major wars currently being waged would cease. For those who disagree, name one major current conflict that doesn't boil down to "My God can kick your God's butt." I'll be over here waiting...

I think to most people their religion makes complete sense; to me, my religion makes complete logical sense. It is just about finding out what you believe. Additionally, there is the whole problem of faith. There is insufficient "worldly" evidence to prove any religion is the only true religion and what evidence people do have is usually on an individual basis, which can't be conveyed to another. Therefore, each individual must search, become educated and then find wisdom (in Christianity pray and get answers). I cannot dispute what someone else has found to be true, because it is faith based and spiritual. I can certainly share what I have found and believe, but that is it. Good luck.

It's called a miracle. Miracles occur when God bends the laws of nature to accomplish a certain goal that would normally be impossible to occur naturally. The same thing happened when Noah managed to cram 20 billion animals onto a boat and keep them alive for over 40 days.

You know nothing of manifestations do you?

Besides, if God is all-powerful, why couldn't he have a physical son?

Think of it. If I mated and produced a table, that would be pretty freaking weird. But if God made a table you would have to conclude, "Well it completely goes against the laws of nature, but since God is supernatural I guess those laws do not bind him"

The bible is called the "Holy Bible" - it's author is God and everything written in it is to be accepted by faith. Though we can't see God yet he exist, with or without us trying to prove a point. Things will not make "common sense" to us especially some verses in the bible if we're not christians, for example I Corinthians 2:7-8, 11&13 (7) But rather what we are setting forth is a wisdom of God once hidden [from the human understanding] and now revealed to us by God--[that wisdom] which God devised and decreed before the ages for our glorification [to life us into the glory of His presence]. (8) None of the rulers of this age or world perceived and recognized and understood this, for if they had, they would never have crucified the Lord of glory. (11) For what person perceives (knows and understands) what passes through a man's thoughts except the man's own spirit with him? Just so no one discerns (comes to know and comprehend) the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God. (13)And we are setting these truths forth in WORDS NOT TAUGHT BY HUMAN WISDOM BUT TAUGHT BY THE [Holy] Spirit, combining and interpreting spiritual truths with spiritual language [to those who possess the Holy Spirit. One more scripture Colossians 2:8 (AMP) See to it that no one carries you off as spoil or makes you yourselves captive by his so-called philosophy and intellectualism and vain deceit (idle fancies and plain nonsense), following human tradition (men's ideas of the material rather than the spiritual world), just crude notions following the rudimentary and elemental teachings of the universe and disregarding [the teachings of] Christ (the Messiah). A little lengthy but rich in truth!

God did not "send" a religion.
Some things regarding religion not make sense to humans...but it doesn't have to . Humans do not have the capacity to understand the ways of God. That's why we are to have FAITH in Him.

God says in Bhagavad gita:

"It should be understood that all species of life, O son of ****é, are made possible by birth in this material nature, and that I am the seed-giving father."

PURPORT
In this verse it is clearly explained that the Supreme Personality of Godhead, Krishna, is the original father of all living entities. The living entities are combinations of the material nature and the spiritual nature. All these appearances are due to the mother, material nature, and Krishna's seed-giving process. The purport is that the material world is impregnated with living entities, who come out in various forms.
We are all sons of God. Originally, we are pure spirit, due to our material desires we come here to this material world and accept a material body.

you don't understand Christian theology. Jesus (God's son) was the "word" made flesh. This means that Jesus is the eternal, non-created, son of God that became human in order to save humanity from its sins. AFter the resurrection, Jesus returned to heaven with his human body and will come again to judge man-kin.

God can do it, that's what makes Him God...if He was limited to our "laws" of common sense, then He wouldn't be much of an All-Powerful God.
