He said 2 weeks ago that he would only drive a Chevy. His dad mostly drove Chevy's except for a few years when he drove the Wrangler Ford for Bud Moore. It would probably take a lot of money to get him to switch makes. He would also want to go to a winning program, and the only top teams other than Chevy teams are the Dodges of Penske, the Dodges of Evernham, and the Fords of Roush. Roush has 5 teams now and must cut back to 4 so he won't sign Junior.

If he does leave Chevy, which I doubt, he'll race Fords. They're the only other manufacturer that's winning right now. Dodge has yet to figure out the Avenger and Toyota has yet to figure out NASCAR.

Junior wants to win a Championship and right now the best chance for that is driving a Chevy. The Chevy teams of HMS, JGR and RCR are probably the three strongest teams in that order.

JGR and RCR are an easier fit to take on Jr. But right now HMS is on top of their game. So it will be interesting to see where he ends up.

Jr. will be in a Chevy next year. He has already said that he will not drive for another manufacturer and he his already the face of Chevy for NASCAR. His ties are too strong with Chevrolet to leave them for another ride.

Dale Jr loves Chevy, and owns a lot of Corvettes and he likes their designs.

I can't see him ever racing in a Ford. His relationship with Chevy is just too strong. I would probably say Dodge, because Toyota just too new yet.

if not a chevy everyone including him will be shocked...he has stated he has always driven one and wants to continue...he wants to win that leaves those you mentioned out except for roush/fenway and that stable is full...RCR more than likely driving the 3
