I have a Pioneer DVD player-brand new-and a Sony Widescreen TV also new. They both work perfectly well but I cannot get a proper colour pic when i use the new separate component 3 colour cables (Green, Blue, Red). What am I doing wrong and how can I fix this please?

i ought to confess i've got by no skill heard of this association on a techniques eastern foundation kit, even for use interior the a techniques East, because of the fact I even have some and that is all standard phono connectors (JVC video recorder meant for the HK industry). If the cables are top and interior the right places the the only difficulty i will think of of is which you have the AV enter set wrongly on the Sony. No colour could point out that the Sony is finding on the S-VHS enter extremely than RGB. If it quite is real then it quite is a case of fidgeting with the Sony distant administration AV button or putting the AV enter interior the on-exhibit menus. besides the undeniable fact that it must be the DVD output is desperate for S-VHS output interior the on-exhibit menus.

Make sure you connect only ONE set of cables out of the DVD player - either component or composite, NOT both.

On the TV, you need to switch the "Source" or "Input"

Connect the cables correctly.
