Okay, so I've been hanging out with this guy for three weeks...he's cooked me dinner several times and taken me out, he's met quite a few of my friends and I've even stayed over at his house...haven't slept together yet but we've fooled around. He's told me that he likes me and he definately acts like he does, but last night I said to him 'I really like you' and he said 'I don't want to rush'...I wasn't sure if he was talking physically since we were making out so I asked him what he meant and he said 'I like us hanging out'. So does this mean we aren't dating?
He just got out of a relationship earlier this year that was pretty long so could he just be wanting to get to know me better before committing?

It definitely sounds to me like you're dating, but his comment obviously caused some confusion in your mind. The only way you'll know what he meant is to ask him. Maybe he meant he doesn't want to rush into another serious relationship at this time, but again, you won't know unless you ask him. Hold off on the sex though. Three weeks is pretty new anyway, but if you have sex with him, that'll probably give him another reason to hold off on getting serious.

your definitly not dating. and i recommened not going any further with him untill its official because he may not have any intentions on starting a relationship with u. find out if its really progressing to that stage cuz he may just want sex.
