Dear Senator Harkin:


As a native Iowan and excellent customer of the Internal Revenue
Service, I am writing to ask for your assistance. I have contacted the
Department of Homeland Security in an effort to determine the process for becoming an illegal alien and they referred me to you. My primary reason for wishing to change my status from US Citizen to illegal alien stems from the bill which was recently passed by the Senate and for
which you voted. If my understanding of this bill's provisions is
accurate, as an illegal alien who has been in the United States for five years, all I need to do to become a citizen is to pay a $2,000 fine and income taxes for three of the last five years. I know a good deal when I see one and I am anxious to get the process started before everyone figures it out.

Simply put, those of us who have been here legally have had to pay taxes every year so I'm excited about the prospect of avoiding two years of taxes in return for paying a $2,000 fine. Is there any way that I can apply to be illegal retroactively? This would yield an excellent result for me and my family because we paid heavy taxes in 2004 and 2005. Additionally, as an illegal alien I could begin using the local emergency room as my primary health care provider. Once I have stopped paying premiums for medical insurance, my accountant figures I could save almost $10,000 a year. Another benefit in gaining illegal status would be that my daughter would receive preferential treatment relative to her law school applications, as well as "instate" tuition rates for many colleges throughout the United States for my son. Lastly, I understand that illegal status would relieve me of the burden of renewing my driver's license and making those burdensome car insurance premiums.

This is very important to me given that I still have college age children driving my car. If you would provide me with an outline of the process to become illegal (retroactively if possible) and copies of the necessary forms, I would be most appreciative.

Fact #1: Illegals come her to get free medical help -

Fact # 2: There are a lot of places that help those in need and they dont ask questions. I actually worked at one place and 50% of those we helped were not even english speaking.

My house was reroofed by illegals and if I had been in town I would have stopped it....my wife fogot to include a 'no illegal' deal in our roofing contract.

Yes they can get food stamps (that probably depends on states though?)

fact #5 - paint & construction are among the most highly paid (illegal or otherwise) , but I was talking about mechanics at a aerospace plant .

fact #7 - u can get help and still be illegal ... Billions in grants given to YWCA, and many other places to help illegals in the guise of helping the kids.

my sisnlaw works in a ER.

most illegals get litterally free medical services...at the ywca they got free checkups.... me and the wife would have had to pay $50 to get the same they got.

They are in fact taking our very jobs at all levels.... I even worked with a immigrant who was on visa whose brother was a illegal.

All 3 of us were systems analysts making $35/hr.

He actually kept another person from being considered by llieing about his status..

That person was a citizen.

U are a fool, I wasnt talking ceo either. and there are not a million jobs out there unless you are willing to move to another part of the country or unless you dump all your traing & education and do soemthing different.

Me I had to leave the computer fiedl tempoarily to just survive.

Yes some do require ss #, which can be faked for some services.

And illegals rarely if ever have to pay for it at an ER (many still treat even if no payment)...

Which is why many hospitals are closing ER's and eventually will not have eR services except in the field. (per my doc who is a former admin of a local hospital).

Fact is, we citizens are paying hundrds of $$$ per month for what many if not illegals get free or nearly free.

I even personally know a few legals who pretend to be illegal soley to get the freebies (and to save $$)..

I would consider it but I wouldnt pass for a hispanic even close.

I used to even know of some legals working as illegals in the field, but that admittedly has been years.

Wow, that's fantastic. I'm copying it and forwarding it to all my friends and relatives so that we can start a movement. It's certainly fair. Thanks -- it's a great letter. Additionally, though, I just found out that we citizens can sue the illegal aliens under the Rico Act and current immigration laws. We should also be able to sue the Churches that are harboring illegals under Section 8 1324USC and under 274 of the INA. Why are we bothering with all this other stuff? Why don't we take legal actions of our own? I love your idea!

Being a legal U.S. resident my whole life Illegal Aliens and what they get makes me sick. How does it feel to be a second class citizen. I am going to spread this letter as well, thank you for the posting.

how are illegals taking away your benefits...THEY DO NOT HAVE A SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER...because duh...THEY ARE ILLEGAL.....no they cant get welfare..why....THEY ARE ILLEGAL...cant get food stamps..why...THEY ARE ILLEGAL...what the hell kind of benefits are they taking from you...taking away your jobs....gimme a break...what do they do...PAINT...CONSTRUCTION WORK.....it would be a different story if they are taking jobs like..ceo or something huge like that..gimme a break ok...their are a million jobs out there for you to apply at....and not they are not taking all of the jobs..why...CUZ THEY ARE ILLEGAL...AND MOST JOBS WANT A SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER....people need to think before they speak or write...get your facts straight.....CANT HAVE ANY KIND OF GOVERNMENT ASSISTANCE..WITHOUT WUT???......SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER!.....some ppl are soo ignorant....and also..when the "illegals" do go to the emergency hospital...yes...they do need to pay..just like everybody else does who does not have...medical insurance
