Can anyone please tell me how to make my Power Point presentation run as a slide-show directly when clicked on it. Or, in other words, save it as a slide-show only file.

If you simply want to click on one ting (the file) and have it start and run through, you need to do two things:

1) Set a global option in PP to time the slides. You can set it to be the same time for all slides, or, if you need to adjust individual times. You can also select all the slide, and then under the SlideShow menu up top select Rehearse Timings. This will allow you to run through the show. manually selecting the transitions, and then it sets the times on all slides based on that run through.

2) Once you have the show set up, save as a PowerPoint Show (*.pps). That will be your one-click solution.

It's quite a process in making a powerpoint presentation automatic. What you need to do is for every effect you use, you need to give them the timing to either go when a scene starts or start after a previous effect. Also when switching slides, you can easily tell the presentaion to switch slides. It looks great and is fun to do!
