Yet they never go after Muslims or other religions?
I have never seen a question from an athiest on here from an athiest making a stabbing remark towards islam. Why not?

They aren't moved to attack anything but the thing they know inside to be authentic. Guess who moves them?

I'm sure there are plenty of "attacks" on Muslims by Wiccans and Atheist. You've only been a member a month, give it some time, and with the PLETHORA of questions being asked and answered it is going to happen. I'm sure I've seen some I just can't quote them directly atm.

You fail to mention how many questions are posed by Christians and "believers" to all the "non-believers" out there filled with ridicule, harassment and hate.

I'm not saying that EITHER side is right in "attacking" someone of another belief. This is supposed to be a forum for adults to converse, ask and answer questions and gain some insight into things they don't know as much about.

I value reading responses that differ from mine, in fact I really enjoy it when someone intelligently and articulately disagrees with me, or clearly states their side without being hostile.

That's what makes a debate great, the open, honest, yet considerate, if not passionate exchange of ideals.

I have never "attacked" anyone. As a Jewish person, however, I have seen some very offensive questions about Jews from both Christians and Muslims and I feel I need to respond in kind. I guess Atheists do not "attack" Jews because we never tell them they are going to hell and will suffer eternally because they aren't like us. I think if Christians wouldn't do that, there wouldn't be any "attacks."

As a Christian I can answer that:

Because there doesn't appear to be many Mulsims on this site making broad generalizations of faith and passing it off as fact.

Christians attack others or make 'fact' statements of faith.
Non-Christians attack Christians and make 'fact' statements of non-faith.

Cycle of stupidity really. It doesn't accomplish anything other then make both sides look dumb. Both sides need to learn how to
a) make a good question - The Darwin's christian question is a good example to me. She asked what people thought about his converting on deathbed. Then she removed it and asked a more balanced form of the question (although some still replied in a negative maner on both sides)
b) respond/answer in a good manner. This involves no insults, attacks or put downs.

Until you learn how to do the above, why would anyone take anything you say with anything other then distain? I'm trying. I know I occasionally make mistakes in that area, but hey.. I'm trying. There seem to be a lot of people who not only don't try, but seem to just want to stir the pot, so to speak.

Edit: Which is why I give thumbs down to ANY statement that insults either side. Sorry if this offends someone. But if you fail either of my two rules, you deserve it (IMO)

I like Jill's answer and gave it a thumbs up. The key word is CERTAIN (of either side). Anyone who says it is all of "them" is showing the same prejudicial view that the KKK possesses when they say "all blacks" or whatever.

Edit again: I gave Jed a thumbs down too. Sorry Jed. No matter what my personal beliefs are, I can't say that all of them know inside that Christianity is true. Not every single motive is from Satan. This attributes too much power to him. Sometimes it is simply their view, combined with the fact that their life has been influenced by others. Could be what they see as poor examples of Christianity (Fred Phelps does NOT portray my faith) or positive acting members of what we as Chrsitians see as a pagen religion.

Selective attention, plus the fact that most of what you see as "attacks" is really defending ourselves against Christians.

Christians are responsible for the way that Christians are treated here. As long as the main Christian activities on this forum are whining, lying about atheists and attacking Islam, Christians are going to find themselves subject to retaliation. If you want to be treated like an adult, act like an adult.

Example: Compare the answers below by Ray and Jed. Ray acts like an adult: I respect him even though I disagree with his faith. Jed is just an ***, and deserving of no respect.

Send us more Christians like Ray, and fewer like Jed, and you'll see Christians treated a lot better here. Respect is earned. So is disrespect.

"In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world" (John 16:33)....... "If the world hates you, you know that it hated Me before it hated you. If you were of the world, the world would love its own. Yet because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you" (John 15:18-19).

God's TRUE Christians have never been a popular or powerful force. Jesus describes their lot in life: "Enter through the narrow gate; for the gate is wide and the road is easy that leads to destruction, and there are many who take it. For the gate is narrow and the road is hard that leads to life, and there are few who find it" (Matthew 7:13-14, NRSV).

That's right!......Only a few are willing to follow all the teachings of Jesus Christ once they hear and understand them. Jesus comforted His disciples, "Do not fear, little flock, for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom" (Luke 12:32).

God reveals that His people will be a little flock in this age. He is calling only a few to be the living examples of His way of life to the rest of world.

Jesus says to His true disciples, "You are the light of the world . . . Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven" (Matthew 5:14-16).

God commissioned the Church (and He didn't mean Satan's counterfiet Christianity, the RCC, and her harlot offspring) to set the example of His way of life to the world. God is exposing humanity to His ways through the Church. Peter exhorts the members of the Church: "Conduct yourselves honorably among the Gentiles, so that, though they malign you as evildoers, they may see your honorable deeds and glorify God when he comes to judge" (1 Peter 2:12, NRSV).

Pagans in general try not to attack other religions. We know what it feels like to be figurativly burned at the stake. Christianity...no I take that back, certain christians have a way of being REALLY offensive, arrogant and judgemental. I hate to admit it, but it REALLY ruins it for the rest of you.

Well I attack on Y/A because it is against the law to attack them in real life, which I think needs to be done.

Probably because most of the time christians attack both of them.

Because the preponderance of religious stupidity spoken in English comes from Christians, and my Arabic is rusty.
