Trying to find an idea of what to do. My mom probably doesn't want us going to her place because she doesn't want to clean, which is the same reason I don't want my family coming to my place. Eating out is expensive... Not sure what to do. For every occasion it seems my family ends up at my place?! My father suggested I have a BBQ, looks like showers and chilly outside for Sunday.

I think for Mother's Day, you should be able to clean up. It's only Thursday after all. You don't have to do everything at once! She is your mother and it's her day!! So get cracking!!

i was going to say have everyone meet at a local park for a picnic. everyone can bring a dish to pass but not if it's suppossed to rain.sorry, i have no more ideas.
