First, I don't know, I don't suppose anyone does either. Faith is a central part of religion. If there was complete knowledge there would be no need for faith.

What makes me suspect God is more than a delusion?
I have seen some evidence of mental/spiritual guidance in my decision making. Unlikely but good decisions that bring things together for some good or purpose. From this I reasonably suspect guidance from a spiritual realm.
Vast numbers of other people throughout recorded history have felt the guidance of God. Some are crackpots of course but many have genuine strong faith even unto the point of death
Most people seem to have a built in desire to seek purpose through God.
The wisdom of the bible and other sacred texts. Even while recorded and translated by humans with thier own agendas many pearls of wisdom stand the test of time.
Some archaic food laws which sound odd actually gave the people protection. The order of the creation story is in a reasonable order &implies there was a beggining. Other oddities that appear to have had divine inspiration.
-----------------------
A bit about God as I now see him.
I believe there are unseen dimensions to our universe. There is a spiritual dimension in which our souls can seek communication with God. God can guide & use people who choose to let him.
God does not mess with physics. The physical events of the universe were set into play when the universe was created.
Heaven is reunion with the creator God. I doubt it is physical, rather a reabsorbsion/merging of our conciousness into God.

I believe that Jesus Christ is the son of God and came to this earth as living sacrfice to be die, ressurect on the third day and assend into heaven (fulfilling the prophecy) and brigding the way to a relationship with God. I believe this for many reasons. A self experience-at the age of ten i was badly burned (3rd degree burns on 63% of by body) and while in the hospital, my mom prayed every day for the 93 days i was there. Simply enough, I was spared for a reason i cannot yet see and believe it brought me closer to god. Being 18, im loving my life and have never been closer to God-Amen.

The Bible promises that He will bring joy to my life and He has. I know my purpose of life. I no longer feel like Im living to die. He gives me all I need. I dont deserve the blessings Hes bestowed upon me. I dont deserve anything He has done for me. He owes nothing yet I owe Him everything. He has saved me from eternal damnation and given me a better life here on earth. My prayer is that all may come to know Christ. I know that wont happen because He gives us free will but I pray in the coming days many will receive Him. The headlines in the news are just like following the Bible as it foretells of the end of the age. I cant tell you everything He has done for me it would take to long and not enough space on here. That is just the one that most people desire in this world. To know they are loved and never alone when you have a friend in Jesus. Repent and be baptized. Peace out.......

Quantum Mechanics tells us that anything has some probability to exist anywhere at any time; do you REALLY believe you are somehow separate from the entire Universe?

'God' exists for me because of the signs I have personally seen. But then, my definition of 'God' is probably different than most people's.

Christianity bases on something what happened in history.I have done my homework. When I asked the Holy Spirit in my heart, I have been able experience the relationship with God. He communicated with me through the Scripture and through people and through circumstances.
Jesus is well and alive. : )

I practically have my own library of books on religion, cults, books 'proving' evolution, books 'proving' creation, the Bible, the Quran, etc., etc.
But when it comes down to it, I believe because of my own experiences. No person on this earth can argue against my experiences with my Creator.
Peace

1st of ALL: Spiritual people DON'T need faith, We have the Truth;
2nd of ALL: Life exists, right? right...
Humanity is part of Life, right? right...
You and me are part of Humanity, right???
right...
Right so far, correct???
So, now you know that God exists...
Right?
because if you don't...
you're even more ignorant than people in religion...
Here's another method to prove God's existance:
Create a Private, Personal, Direct, Divine Relationship with Our Creator and save your Soul from religion's and atheist's beliefs.
Love and Believe in Our Creator;
Love and Believe in Yourself.
Only with Our Creator's Love and Peace will we be Truly Free!
