Interesting collection of questions, I must say.
I believe that there is quite possibly some component of human life that may be called "spiritual." I believe it has to do with functions of the the mind that we do not understand, and since we think about the mind with the mind, we may never understand.
I think religion and the belief in God or "gods" arises from this inability to understand. The mind seeks resolution of unanswered questions. If the resolution cannot arise from examining available evidence, the mind "makes up" a resolution to lessen the degree of anxiety encountered by an unanswered question.
Is this "right?" I don't know.
I'm not "really into religion," although at one point I was.
As to homosexuality and illegal aliens, I have no real "position."

There are no gods. So, I lack any philosophy on gods. I understand why people believe in gods, but I don't think that understanding could be categorized as a philosophy.
I guess you could say I'm really "into religion", in the sense that I am actively trying to educate people about the harm religion does to society.
There is nothing wrong with homosexuality, per se. It's not my thing, though. The illegal alien issue goes much farther than simply throwing them out of the country because they are here illegally. The immigration laws, themselves, are sorely needing improvement, and we have to rethink what our relationship is with other countries.

my beliefs are very basic and i consider myself pagan. I am not affiliated with any type of organized religion. I believe very simply that God Is Everything or God is Nothing....
I believe that as long as we are loving and compassionate with an honest desire to do the "next right thing" , and we practice our prayer and meditation, constantly seeking a closer and conscious contact with our higher power as we understand that to be, we are doing well.
As long as we can practice tolerance and are constantly seeking......we are making progress. Spiritual Progress, Not Spiritual Perfection.....
Religion is for people who are afraid of going to hell
Spirituality is for people who have already been.....
As for homosexuality, what is done and practiced out of love and caring between consenting people...if its not hurting ourselves or others, how can it be wrong?
As for the illegal alien thing....why not just go through the legal process?
Blessed Be

I believe in God, but religion is not for me.
At its best, I think religion can provide comfort, guidance and structure for people who need it.
At its worst, it fosters hostility and violence toward those who believe differently (or not at all).
I have friends who are gay, friends who are Jewish, and friends who are atheists. All of them are wonderful people who are models of the Golden Rule, and I refuse to believe that God would deny these people an afterlife just because a Bible verse says they don't get one.

Who's to say what's right? I can believe that something created the universe by accident, then left, you can't tell me it's wrong. That's what makes it a belief.
I have no problem with homosexuality, although I do have a problem with illegal aliens.

I'm Pagan and I don't believe I am "right". I believe its the path for me. I believe that all gods exists, I just choose to follow mine. Yes I am really into my religion. I feel more connected to people around me and places around me. I think its given me more compassion. I have no stand on homosexuality. I think they are very nice normal people leading nice normal lives and that we have no right to tell them who they can and can't love. I have a gay couple at my church and they are wonderful people that I totally adore and they hav earth studies with me (I go to a Unitarian Church) I don't care about immigrants, but I do think they should come here legally. That's just the rules.

Wow, you asked everything in one fell swoop
I'm pagan, I don't think my religion is right for everyone ( I don't think anyone's is).
I'm really into this section, . . . yeah I guess I'm into religion, that's kind of a weird question. Maybe I'm reading it weird.
I think homosexuality is a natural, healthy sexual orientation.
Illegal aliens do the jobs no one else wants to, our economy would be screwed if someone figured out a way to make them all leave.

So we have come to know and to believe the love that God has for us. God is love, and whoever abides in love abides in God, and God abides in him. I believe the love that God has for me; I come to know it in greater measure every day. He is love.
