Who are you kidding?! Animals fight to the death over territory and mating rights all the time.

Yes, we're animals. But your 'evidence' hardly makes the case.

I have no problem with being an animal.

However, as others have pointed out the animal kingdom is full of examples of killing similar for a large variety of reasons. Being intelligent makes a deadlier predator than some that are stronger and faster than us. And as yet having intelligence has not stopped us from acting on emotion.

As far as killing for oil, are you willing to give up all the things that you have that you would not have if we did not have oil. Make-up, clothing, asphalt roads, autos, plastics, electricity. and much more. My guess is no.

Most mating fights do not involve the death of any animals. When stags, or any horned animal for that matter [seeing as nearly all animals with horns, even rhinocerous beetles, is for fighting] duke it out, they normally do so untill one submits or can no longer fight due to exhaustion.

"Some animals eat their young" True, but some animals let their young eat them.

The reason many people dont accept we are animals is because we have a conscience, and we don't like to think that such a thing could have resulted as a part of nature, but instead is an artificial creation of God's making us special. Everyone likes to feel special, even if they aren't.

I don't have a problem with being an animal..But you are wrong about animals killing there similar for any reason. May not be oil but they will kill each other and or babies....It keeps things equal..Only the strong survive..

Why not? Animals kill each other in the wild to get better resources.

Some animals eat their young. Black widows and praying mantis' eat their babies' daddy's. I guess those are bugs...anyhow, just the fact that humans have a conscience doesn't mean they were raised knowing how to use it.
