if it helps i live in colorado springs, and tho the weather is getting nice during the days, it can still get fairly chilly during the evenings but i definately like the idea of doing something outside.

Well first off, congrats on your 1 year anniversary! I'm coming up on 2 years in a few months. What I can say to make it romantic, and cost effective at the same time. Take her for a walk somewhere peaceful, and quiet...so you can talk about whatever your interests are. If at all possible, have a friend prepare a nice dinner for you, give him $20 if you have to! But make sure its something that SHE likes, regardless if you like it or not! Candles, bottle of wine, nice soft music in the background...etc. When the 2 of you show up at your place, she'll be surprised that you did something of this nature for her(remember, it's all about making her happy!) Enjoy the meal together over conversation, maybe have a nice dessert afterwards.....then change the music to some nice slow dance stuff and ask her to dance! No kidding, it works! Just be yourself and if all goes well, everything else will just fall into place! Good luck man!

PS Even if you have to....watch a romantic movie to get some ideas!

here's a GREAT date:
buy her some flowers. not to big and bulky...just some cute daisies or tulips. pick her up and give her the flowers.
she'll be so happy.
then...for the date:
i'm a big fan of sporting events. they can be romantic, but fun. or if you're going more for the squishy romance, then make reservations at a nice restaurant. order big dinners and don't skimp on dessert.
then, find a nice place to just take a walk. like here, there is a marina downtown and at night it's sparkly and there are benches and porch swings to sit on. great idea to spark some conversation or some hugs and kisses.
maybe go for ice cream cones and walk around a park.

the idea is for it to be just the two of you and you are into HER..,not getting into her pants.
kiss her like you really mean it and hold her hand.
put forth an effort that you may forget about on regular days...
does that make sense??

the weather is becoming so nice, after dinner take her outside...to a park, to a waterfront...something fun.
if there's a big city nearby, then maybe something there.

for example:
i took my husband on the BEST date ever. not totally girly romantic, but we still talk about this date.
i picked him up and we drove to baltimore for an O's game. before the game we sat at an irish pub outside and people watched and checked out the harbor. then, we bummed around the shops and watched some singing fudgemakers!
we walked around town and went to the game. we were in the sunshine and the crowd was fun and we had a great time. after the game we ate downtown and then drove home.

it was so great b/c it was out of our "normal" routine. we were having new experiences together and that makes it special.
so, try to figure out something new. maybe a new restaurant you haven't been to before. find a neat little park to take a walk through...or even a neat neighborhood to walk through can be fun. OR i don't know where you live, or how old you are...but a fun thing i have done with past boyfriends was drive around BIG house developments and dream about owning one of those monsters someday!

oh! do you belong to a country club? a golf course could be a neat place to walk through in the evening....
if it's a nice one.

anyway...
that's my thoughts..
flowers, dinner (somewhere new) and a nice walk outside somewhere romantic and lovely.

take care and have fun!

Cook! Find out her Fav food and cook it. Get a nice bottle of wine. If wine isn't your thing ask the clerk for a Wine that is close to the beer Framboise by Lambic. I can't remember what wine they gave me but it was about $15 and was good. It was a Red wine, clear glass with a silver table. It was the darker of the few. (if you can't find that wine get the beer trust it's worth it $5-6 a bottle, TRUST it's worth it unless u don't like raspberry (also don't get other flavors they suck))
Next is candles in the bathroom with a hot drawn bath, you should be cooking when she gets home so that the smell is in the air. When she comes in walk her to the bathroom where she can soak awhile while you finish cooking. Timing could be tricky but I'm sure you can work it out. Buy a table cloth red or white. Have candles on the table slightly dim lighting. After if you have one of the first movies you guys watched watch it. She most likely will remember, as women do. Lay back enjoy what follows next ^.-

Okay, so since she's expecting you to do something romantic, mess her up. First of all, do it the day before your anniversary, just to suprise her. Suprise is the first step! Make sure, though, that you tell her you know you're a day earlier so you don't get in trouble for screwing up the date. Make a scrapbook for her of the two of you. It's easy, very cheap. Just get a notebook (less than a dollar) find 10 or so pictures of you, her, and the two of you together, and then just draw some pictures or add stickers to it. Also make sure to write little letters to her. Make your "book" about 20 pages long. Fill in all the pages in between pictures with notes, letters, or poems or anything at all you can find. When my husband and I were dating, he used to leave me little notes all over. Once he even put a ticket on my car (like, he asked a cop for a real ticket) and I got a ticket for being beautiful. He also knew how much I love Dairy Queen, so once he bought me gift certificates there and taped them to my door. He also once filled my apartment with cut out hearts and balloons. Best of luck to you! (by the way, I hope she knows how lucky she is that you are trying so hard!)

If you can't really afford the really nice restaurant, then cook her dinner. Set up some candles on the table, get her some flowers. Make the night all about her. Then go somewhere and go dancing, and for a moonlit walk in the park/along the beach or some quiet, nice little street.

The key to being romantic is to make an effort, be sweet and attentive. She'll appreciate it.

I don't have a move but just be romantic. Get some soft music when she gets home be ready. Have the music playing rose petals from the front door to the tub in the tub to. real nice hot bath u do everything she don't left a finger. bathe her make sure you have champagne cook her a nice steak dinner then hell when she gets out the tub you go for what u know. Sex her like she has never been sexed before. the food comes after the sex hey it wouldn't hurt for u to have some honey or chocolate which ever one u prefer to lick off her

Well as cliched as it may sound why not invite her over somewhere where you have prepared or organised a dinner for you both where it is private and do the roses and a gift.

Another idea would be maybe pack a picnic basket and blanket and take her out to a park or your fave spot and set it up and spend the evening chatting and getting close.

a walk in the park with a picnic (doesnt have to be too fancy, a few sandwiches, snacks, bottle of wine)

take along something to sit on ie a blanket, a little stereo/ radio for a bit of atmosphere and give her some flowers and a litle pressie like a book of love poetry after your picnic

works better if its a bit warmer but even on a cold day you can take a flask of mulled wine and enjoy it too

Good luck

If you have the money do something a bit more upscale. take her to a concert (romantic classical music) and dinner in a nice place. Or, make a nice dinner that you cook yourself, put on nice music and candles, and some rose petals on the bed.
