It is a good thing to search for truth.
I am like this and people have told me it's a negative thing for too long.
Guess what? It's a POSITIVE thing. If people choose to be ignoramuses let them be. You choose to dig deep.
The key is to be positive.
Look for P0SITIVE solutions, do not dwell on the negative. you should be fine.
Whenever I address something and seek a reply that didn't come, I'll get depressed, and my mind goes into overdrive - maybe they don't like me; maybe I worded it wrong?
But what good does it do? I just forget it, and if I think that
1.they don't know how to reply
or 2. they were too busy
or 3. they're not worth my time anyway..
I just feel better.
Do that - because your happiness is > important than misery.

Not only do I read too much into things; I analyze every little thing to death, or at least to the point that I seem wishy washy to others. That is the down side of being a darn good counselor! It really sucks in ones personal life, however. You are right in saying it is who you are, but you are wrong in saying you can't help it. You just haven't learned how to temper it yet. It's not a bad thing to analyze and "read" situations....but sometimes a banana is just a banana. If you would like to get help with your issue talk to a really good counselor, even a school counselor or a really good psych teacher. Wish you the best! Nana

People tell me i do, i'd have to agree with them. i have done it since i was a little kid. i also over analyse absolutely everything- body language, demeanour, tone of voice as well as what people are saying. fortunately, im usually pretty accurate in it.
there are upsides though. it means i can usually work out if i can really trust someone one the first or second meeting. it also helps me work out peoples motives and what theyre really feeling or angry about or whatever
It has also helped me to understand the human condition and all kinds of other cool psychological and behavioural stuff better than i would have managed so far otherwise- which i love
I'm also hoping to become a psychologist/ therapist and because of seeing this trait in me (along with some other useful traits :)) alot of people are really supportive of me doing that. they think it is definitely a positive in that line of work.
however it annoys the hell out of my mother and many others i have met. i have put alot of noses out of joint by saying it how it is.
Unfortunately it means i can never just see a banana as a banana or a chair as a solid object that is safe to sit upon- i have to go into fierce philosophical debates about everything.
try to find what the positives are in it for you... and then exploit them to the max :)

I think I do at times, especially when I assume a person's behavior implies thoughts they don't have. I tend to "give them too much credit for thinking," as Steve used to say. Lots of times you look for deep meanings when the people involved are not capable of deep thinking.
Try to remember that you cannot assume what is going on inside someone else's head. Sarcasm, for example, is often used just to be humorous, not realizing that it is hurtful and downright rude.
Stereotypes are like that; people really do not "believe" that all Xs are Y, but they repeat what their parents told them. They tell old jokes, quote old comments, think old ideas, because they have nothing more inside them.

We all hold up a mirror to each other and more often than not, when looking at somebody, we see just a reflection of ourselves.
If you want to see what is really there, forget everything you know or assume and just observe. It requires some effort but is well worth a try!

You've subtly embedded your truly query in all these things approximately developments, however it's transparent that what you're quite asking is what might make me joyful within the quick time period. A modest examine of, say, $one hundred,000.00 might do it.
