Fower names like: Daisy and Buttercup or Blossom and Rose.
Aslo, if you are getting a puppy check out the Ultimate Puppy Toolkit. It is an awesome resource for owners. It covers everything like housebreaking, games, jr. obedience and socialization for a new puppy.
Don't take your puppy from the littermates till it is at 8 weeks old... bite inhibition is learned from 6 to 8 weeks, and you will want that learnt before your puppy comes home.

I have 3 labs.
They are named Cherry (3 years) Pumpkin (1 year) and Mr. Brown (6 months). Wonderful names for my intelligent and friendly companions.

You should wait until you get them. That way you can give them a name that goes with their personalities. We had our first dog for a couple of weeks I think before we came up with a good name.

We have three dogs. We named the 2 girls after bears....Kodiak and Grizzly...my husband got to name the male and then lost his privilages of naming any other pet because our male dogs name is now Cujo and everyone is afraid of him.. He is a sweety but because of his name people don't pet him.

I have always named my dogs with "people" names. I currently have an Andrew and a Bella--but we call them Andy and Belle. But really any name you give them they will come to...eventually!!LOL
