since you say you're not fat then i suggest you tone rather than shed.

don't worry, do it right and your body weight will decrease.

try the whole dumbell routine, yoga, pilates, dance or you can just beat some1 up for 1/2 an hour every day..lol..

whatever you pick make sure you do it thrice a week for at least 1/2 an hour...

also, watch what you eat...but don't ever skip meals or turn down carbs cause your body needs it.
if you don't feel like eating just make sure that you at least had a decent(no, having 1 fruit doesn't count) breakfast...that way you won't starve by lunch..then have a light lunch...an early dinner too...
sleep too...cause people who are asleep won't be thinking of food...research has also shown that people who drink full milk twice a day have a higher success rate at losing weight.
*drink at least 3 cups of JAPANESE green tea every day*
don't drink the chinese ones cause i notice that i just feeL bloated afterwards but after drinking pure japanese green tea for 3 weeks i'd dropped 2 kilos!

Oh yeah, it's all about DISCIPLINE!

Ok this will take a little math on your part.
Step one is to calculate your BMR with the following formula:

Women:
655 + (4.3 x weight in pounds) + (4.7 x height in inches) - (4.7 x age in years)

Men:
66 + (6.3 x weight in pounds) + (12.9 x height in inches) - (6.8 x age in years)

Please note that this formula applies only to adults.

Calculate Activity
Step two: In order to incorporate activity into your daily caloric needs, do the following calculation:

* If you are sedentary : BMR x 20 percent

* If you are lightly active: BMR x 30 percent

* If you are moderately active (You exercise most days a week.): BMR x 40 percent

* If you are very active (You exercise intensely on a daily basis or for prolonged periods.): BMR x 50 percent

* If you are extra active (You do hard labor or are in athletic training.): BMR x 60 percent

Add this number to your BMR.

The result of this formula will be the number of calories you can eat every day and maintain the weight you are currently at. In order to lose weight, you'll need to take in fewer calories than this result.

To lose weight you have to eat less calories than the amount to maintain your current weight. 3500 calories equals one pound. So if you have 500 less calories a day you will lose one pound a week. Eat 250 less calories a day ad lose a half pound a week and so on. Also you can burn more calories as well so by burning an extra 250 calories a day and eating 250 calories less a day you will still have a 500 calorie a day deficit that would result in a loss of one pound a week.

Do NOT consume less than 1250 calories a day without a doctor's advice.

Hope this helps you take off the pounds and live a healthier life.

Here's how I just lost 10 pounds:

Breakfast: Whole wheat English muffin with peanut butter or preserves
Lunch: Turkey chili or soup, salad with low-cal dressing
Dinner: Fish fillet, baked potato or baked sweet potato, veggies
Snack: low-cal microwave popcorn or cereal

Also, I run at least 30 minutes 5 days a week, and lift weights 5 days a week.

My suggestion is maybe a workout routine. When I need to loose weight, I normally start doing stomach crunches, push-ups, and lower adominal leg lifts before dinner if possible. I also try to stay active outside with yard work, rollerblading, swimming, hiking, paintball, and walking in the summer and with snowboarding in the winter.

They always say the best way to loose weight, is to build / tone your muscles. 4 pounds of muscle only increases your body size about 1/16 of an inch, but you may loose 20 lbs of fat in trade.

that should be pretty easy. you can probably just cut out like butter or whole milk or sugar in coffee/tea and exercise a little.
