Maybe this analogy will help some of you believers understand why we atheists hang out in R&S. You don't have to believe in something in order to find it interesting, or worthy of debate.

Excellent analogy.

I, for one, have always been on the Atheists' side about their right ot be here. You guys are the life of the party here. If you weren't here, I probably would hang out on the Politics section all day.

Roger Clemens is killing the sport of baseball, along with the steroid users. For some odd reason, the world waits as he goes to a team, signs a huge contract, and pitches 1 every 5 games and probably won't go on road games again. I do not like him.

and I am a non-Yankees fan.

I will be going to Seattle tomorrow to watch the Yankees play the Seattle Mariners. Who should I pay attention to on the field and at bat? Just Roger Clemens, or others. My 25 yo son is going with me but he hates answering my lame baseball questions. lol.

I did, extensively. In fact I was all over the news, telling one of my friends - a Yankees fan - about it before he'd heard elsewhere.

Of course there's no real baseball news these days other than the Milwaukee Brewers.

Good point, but in my case I was totally unaware of it and still couldn't care about Roger or Baseball, sorry. But all in all a good analogy.
