What a fascinating question. I'm going to assume that you meant Inventions of the "Eureka" type Invention, like the telephone. Not the subsequent inventions within the lifecycle, a newer way to do what, something we already have does, like cell phones, to continue the same analogy.

I would have to say that the general perception at this time appears to be no. I believe this is because Inventions of that type require several somethings that currently appear to be lacking in the world. First is an innate curiosity about what could be, second a perceived need/benefit, third might be a willingness to pursue the Impossible despite all odds.

So if there is anything that hasn't been invented yet it's on Science's list of "impossible things". Flight before airplanes was Impossible. Before 1950, going to the Moon was Impossible.

Remember though just because you can invent it doesn't mean you should.

There will always be something to invent as we do not know everything. We cannot, it is beyond our capacity at this point in time. The more one learns, the more one also discovers how much they do not know. When we make discoveries we only expand our window of view which enables us to expand our knowledge and understanding even further. Thus leading to more items to be invented. The topics are ever expanding and running away from us exponentially. Some times we catch up for a while then go forward again. There are most likely inventions waiting to be published but are not able at this time for one reason or another. Maybe we are not ready for them yet. Maybe it would be to overwhelming for us.

There are yet some things that have not been invented. About a hundred years ago the Director of the U.S. Patent Office believed that everything important had already been invented and he attempted to close the office. Of course he could not do it.
Just imagine if that had indeed happened we all would have been deprived of the "Thigh Master", the "Salad Shooter" and the "Super Dooper Pooper Scooper".

Just look at any science fiction novel / movie.

We haven't invented photon torpedoes, or warp core engines yet, so I would say we still have lots of things to invent :)
