Can't say for sure but 7.0 does not so I don't think so.

I have run both Photoshop 6 & 7 on the Vista platform and I'm currently using 7, I have had no problems so far. Version 5 is pretty old and is way down on features, but give it a try. If it has computability issues it will let you know, and would probably not load.
