How do you be friends with a girl you was pursuing that lead you on for some months, and then rejected you harshly to push you back into the lonely life with hardly any friends and anyone to talk to?

act like it didnt happen. sure it might hurt, but at least ull be able to keep talking to her. if u really like her, then ull try and mend ur broken friendship with her and eventually ur broken heart. she isnt worth the trouble if shes gonna just cast u aside when ever she feels like it, so u should just b friends. and if she decides that she wants to starts the flirting thing again, then keep in mind what she did last time. try not to get hurt and good luck

Yes, a girl can definitely do that to you. But she will be nice enough to discourage you progressively.
