2 PM
BASICALY IF ITS A SINGLE DIGIT NUMBER LIKE 9 AM YOU ADD A ZERO TO THE FRONT 0900 AND IF ITS ANYTIME AFTER NOON. YOU ADD 12 TO THE NUMBER. FOR EXAMPLE 1PM IS 1300. AND MIDNIGHT IS 2400. AND YOU JUST SUBTRACT 12 WHEN YOU ARE TRYING TO TURN MILITARY TIME INTO CIVILIAN TIME IF THE TIME IS 1300 TO 2400

14:00 hrs in military time is 2:00 PM. Military time uses a 24 hour clock. Starting at 1:00 AM and going through 12:00 (noon) use the normal hour. From then on is different in military time. 1:00 PM is 13:00 hrs, 2:00 PM is 14:00 hrs, 3:00 PM is 15:00 hrs and so on. Midnight is 24:00 hrs.

All u have to do is subtract 12 from the military time and u will have the normal time. so 14:00 hours would be 2:00.

2:00 in the afternoon. The day starts out at midnight- which is 00:00 hrs and you keep going from there. 08:00 is 8am, 12:00 is noon ,14:00 is 2pm, 16:00 is 4pm, and so on. They use that at my work and I still get screwed up. But I know that 18:00 is 6pm + time to go home : )

That's international time - everyone else in the world goes by it being that there are 24 hours in a day and designating a.m. and p.m. for times that appear twice each day is a waste of energy, time and patience.
Just subtract 12 from anything you don't understand to get at the right time in the p.m.

that would be 2 pm. Take the 12:00 (twelve-hundred.) that is 12 noon. Take then 14:00, that is adding 2 hours to 12:00. all hours like this: 01:00-11:59 are morning hours. After that it is afternoon and evening hours.
To correctly say 01:00, that would be zero one hundred hours.

2:00 PM... as I rule of thumb I just subtract 2 and drop the "1"... 14 - 2 =12....drop the 1 and it's 2:00.. ofcourse for evening hours leave the 1.

Well the time has been determined. I just want to comment on a couple of things. It is 1400 hours not 14:00. Midnight is 0000 not 2400.

2:00 p.m.
after midnight you're back to regular time 1:00 a.m. etc.
after noon you're into military 13:00 is 1:00 p.m. etc. until you get to midnight which is 24:00 hours then back to regular time. It equates to 24 hours in one day... that's all.
