Just looking for funny stories here. What's the worst outfit you've ever seen someone wear to an audition? Please specify film, theatre or dance.

I'd really appreciate some stories to share with my class.

Thank you!

Singing - This was a recital not an audition, but I watched as a rather large woman with an extraordinary voice waddle onto stage wearing a "gypsy" outfit complete with heavy heavy stage makeup - that made her look like an old, bedraggled fat tart and what was supposed to be a fringed cape/shawl - that looked the size of a table cloth. In fact, it was a table cloth as I'd visited their house shortly after the recital. Aside from the clothes, this woman had a voice that could charm birds from the sky.

Cello - Then there was the little girl (late teens early twenties) with skinny, skinny, extremely bowed legs wearing a micro-mini skirt and frilly low cut blouse try to play cello.

Theater - then there was the no-talent chickie-poo wearing a too-tight blouse and slacks literally shake her great big knockers bra-less at the director - not knowing he was gay with a jealous boyfriend sitting next to him. She didn't get the part.

Not so much dress but unprepared - 6 members of a church choir singing Christ is revelant today - rather than Christ is RELEVANT today with extremely mushy voices. No one taught them diction or pronunciation.

Dance - the short, buxom, plump girl wearing pink tights and baby blue leotard trying to audition for Ophelia in local production of Swan Lake with a "jazz-modern" routine. Sad - but funny. Those pastel colors only made her look shorter - and plumper. Shesh.

My old orchestra conductor in college was fond of wearing large chunky jewelery and instead of formal black (like all us poor folks) She would conduct in a leather (suede) cowboy shirt and skirt both of which had huge dangly fringes on them which bobbed around like crazy when she would conduct. They were both a dark turquoise color...
