Life is about decisions, not matter what the case. If you are an alcoholic, you can go to a million AA meetings and still drink every day until YOU make a DECISION. If you are procrastinator you can talk about how your gonna do better every day, nothing will change until YOU make a DECISION. The next step is to act, get up and do something. The same rules apply to a broken heart, decide that you are not going to let it get you down anymore, and then get up and experience life again. Let go of the insignificant (the other person), it doesn't matter how much it meant to you before, it cannot mean that much to you now. I'm not saying run out and start a new relationship but, hang out with your POSITIVE friends when you get a chance (its important to have positive people around you) and casually date as you feel. You'll be fine once you decide that you will be fine.

It can never be mended (I know). You just have 2 let it scar over and continue living. A good scar is often strong enough 2 keep the heart 2gether until true love finds you!

time helps as does distance from the one that broke it. Spend time with your friends and try to make new ones in clubs or teams. Work on making yourself a better person and the most important thing of all is to never look back. Looking back at all the hurt and the pain will only make things worst. Its better to to forward towards getting over the hurt and living your life again.

Time mends all wounds. If you wanna quick fix try this: Act as if- simply stated it means if someone asks you to do something you don't wanna do, act as if you do and do it anyway. It makes the time go faster and gets your mind off your troubles. Good luck and stay strong!

come on.

this is really hard to answer. mmm.

i'm not sure you can really mend a broken heart. it still works, doesnt it? =)

kiddin'.

i dunno. they said, another love can heal a broken heart, but im not sure. i've only been with one guy. and we've been together for so long i hardly remember the last time i had my heart broken. =)

play a love song. a really sad one. and cry your heart out.

perhaps tomorrow when you wake up, it still hurts, but hey. you woke up and it means you're still alive... and someone out there is waiting for you!

goodluck!

first - be kind to yourself - don't beat yourself up, give yourself permission to feel sad for as long as it takes - time is needed.. don't rush through pain and do NOT find ways to avoid what you feel - you must go through it, to get over it... avoid the pain and it only grows in your mind and torments you, until you DO deal with it....
Second, don't take on guilt etc... life is a journey where each experience helps us to learn and grow along the way... don't beat yourself up.
third - don't let your past effect your future relationships - the next person in your life - give them a chance, they are not the last person.. let go of the baggage. To love is to risk being hurt..

It is not only time, but what you do with that time.

Enjoy being single and get to know yourself again doing fun things and enjoying company of good friends and good times until you are ready to find someone who is ready for you too.

CRY. let it flow. its god's gift to cleanse our eyes and move on to see something more beautiful.

TALK. to your best friend or your dog. Let it out, everything! you feel better, its okay, all you need is someone to listen to you... their advices are subjective.. you know urself best.

LISTEN to your heart, even if it wants you to go to him/her again... give urself another chance, see what happen next after. if its another disappointment, dun fret, after all its no big deal right? you've been upset before and now u tried just once more.. and that last try it is.. cos its time to learn to MOVE ON when things doesnt work out anymore..
