I agree with M S. Don't look for your soulmate in a bar. If you are a member of a church which has community, then that would be the place. If you are not Christian, then Pagan Festivals provide good venues. State fairs, where they still have some old fashioned values are also good places to meet moral people. The work place is a natural, as usually one gets to know their fellow employees well before ever deciding to get together socially. The internet is a possibility, although in my opinion, not a really good one. Dating services, if investigated and proven to actually make the attempt, have helped some people. I have no opinion on them as I don't know anyone who has used one. Twelve step programs tend to introduce like minded people. Last but not least - get on Oprah, and tell the world you need to meet your soulmate. (just joking, but it's been done before)

waiting isnt the way to go or so i'm told
i guess if you just be yourself then someone will hopefully see this in you and respond.

another thing you could try is dating agencies although it does sound a little dogdy to me.

i personally i like that love at first sight tradition that you know that the chick looking back at you knwoing is the right one.

hey have you seen that movie "Springtime in a small Town"
its a good one, very romantic

another thing that may help is church organisations, most of the women there are decent and very friendly.....best of luck

Find someone with ethics and values. See if there is a church nearby with a singles club in it. Look at women objectively and ask yourself what kind of person they really are. It is also a good idea to see if they want to live the same lifestyle, and consider what future goals they may have in order to determine if they are compatible with the way you want to live..

that's sort of mean i mean the only thing the girls you wanted were money ??!!! that's mean man!!! you just wait.... just be yourself ... never lie... and don't look down on yourself... but however a girl would always want to make sure that the guy she's dating has a good job... and could provide her with a good life (it doesn't mean that a woman's a gold digger if she wants that)

Where do you meet these women? There are a lot of good women out there who are financially independent. Most
do not hang out in bars.

i believe that you'll just know when you meet her. dont go out looking for love man and stop acting desperate, coz u'll end up looking in all the wrong places, you just wait and see, but keep flirting coz you never know, that right woman might just be next to you. talk to them ladies and open your eyes...
