Which has a higher salary, to be a general pathologist or to be in a more specific field under pathology?

What are the fields/ subspecialties under pathology which has higher pays?

I'm not sure about the subspecialities under pathology, but I know for a fact that the more specialized you are, the higher your pay. It's the same for a general practioner and a cardiologist. Obviously, the latter earns more $$$.

sometimes more specialization comes with more pay, but you also have less job openings to apply for.
