I think that you can do a person harm by leading them through the salvation prayer, period!
Salvation doesn't come through the salvation prayer unless it is genuine. A person must be convicted of their sins and understand WHY they need Jesus. It has to be more than just an emotion or a promise for a better life - those are empty things.
I think that we can do harm by helping people come to Christ in an ingenuine way. They have to come with hearts broken and knowing they need a Savior.
I heard a statistic saying that something like 80% of new "believers" don't attend church...meaning that its likely that 80% of converts really didn't give their lives to God. They simply said a prayer of faith, then backslid into their regular lives.
So we can definitely err in trying to bring a person to faith before they understand their own condition. However, true salvation is not done by us, but by the Holy Spirit in His timing. Genuine conversion always happens at the exact right time.

When a person wants to be saved - THAT IS THE RIGHT TIME - you have not control over that state of affairs; Only God does. How have you come to the conclusion that it is 2 years too early? What if that person had died or ended up on life support 6 months ago without making that commitment?
So, to get to the point, NO A PERSON CANNOT BE SAVED TOO EARLY :)

They can make a false commitment and THINK they're saved, too early.
God knows when any person is ready to receive salvation, and as these things work spiritually, if you're in touch with the Spirit you will know how far to try to take this person without pushing.

Well, since there is no "Once saved always saved," then I say no. It's never too early to try and lead someone to salvation.
They may not accept it, but later, they may decide that what they were being lead to was the truth, and they may go back to 'trying' to gain salvation.

What do you mean by "saved to early"? Is it that your heart calls to you to sin? Christians all go through temptation, being saved does not deliver us from temptation. It makes us the target.
Hold fast in what you have, your faith will see you through it. If we fall, we get up, take hold of Jesus hand, and go again. There are very few sins that can not be forgiven by Him. Busy yourself with the work of God, and resist temptation, soon it will pass.
If it becomes that compelling, consider prayer, join a prayer group, and call a priest. Regression is the first step of demonic possession, sometimes getting help is the only way to stop it, regression is callously sinning against God, the opposite of progression, which is coming closer to God in your walk with Jesus.

Nope. Being saved early can save a person from a whole bunch of mess. Why would we wait? And there is no promise for tomorrow. If we refused to lead a younger person to God and thought it best to wait a couple years...What if that person died before that two years? No. We are to spread God's word now and tell of the love of Jesus...So, that none will be lost. God bless you.

I think there is many who claim to be saved but they are not. I believe satan fools alot of people into thinking they did. He did me. But when God shows a person they need saved then its time for them. Today is the day of salvation.

No i do not think a person can be saved to early. Being saved is good whenever a person feels they are ready. It should not be something they are forced 2 do though.

To be truly saved the spirit must first draw you. If the spirit moves on you it is right on time.
