That's a tough one. My parents researched this many years ago. The twelve tribes were "lost". But a record has been kept all along. The different tribe settled in different countries. Mostly in the European countries. I don't know every country or country's.
Denmark is I believe is the tribe of Dan.
England, Scotland, and Ireland are the two tribes that came from Joseph. (Ephraim and Manasseh)
Ephraim I think is England.
Manasseh I think is Scotland and Ireland.

Run your family tree or ancestors, If you are a Jew, God will put you in that tribe & Remember, Israel will get ALL their land back that was promised to Abraham, & Jerusalem will be your capital.

unless someone in your family has some tradition of what tribe you are from its going to be next to impossible.
They have DNA tests that can show if you have a common Cohen DNA, but so far it is impossible to determine tribal linage.

ask your family for starters. if they're jewish, which i'm assuming, they'll probably know of which tribe they belong.
you might also go to the family synagogue or rabbi at least, and ask them. there are records on file (sometimes).

pray and fast and then have God show you which one simply by going down the list and having one stand out on the page more then the others

Nowadays, it's impossible to determine tribal linage. Don't worry. If you are jewish, this issue will be solved very soon, when Moshiach arrives...

All the records that lead up to identifying the Messiah were destroyed in 70AD.
As far as I know they are the only ones that you would be able to trace from, however, they served their purpose.
Oh, and if you aren't Jewish, "forgetaboutit"

Join the LDS/Mormon church they apparently tell you which tribe you belonged to.
