Tattoos in general aren't that attractive (sorry, people, that's how I feel).

That said, too many people get them for the sake of getting them, not to make a statement about who they are or what they believe. People change over the course of their lives, and why someone would get a tattoo of someone's name on their arm when numbers argue that there is a better than 50 percent chance they won't be with that person forever, is just silly.

The same goes for religion -- people change their minds every day. People who have dedicated decades to God surrender their faith, and staunch atheists find it. Every day.

Well, yes I can. I have two religious tatts myself. One is a Celtic cross on my leg and the other is praying hands with my fav. verse (Exodus 15:2), on my fore arm. I am obviously a fan of tatts and I choose to show my faith with them. I am actually working on picking verses to put under the rest of my tatts....So that all of them will have a message for Christ. God hates tattoos.
They are a trend of the world and that's why God commanded the Jews not to get them. Not having a tattoo would be a mark that they were not a part of the world at that time.

The Law regarding tattoos does not affect Christians. You will not be condemned for having one, God hasn't changed though,---he still doesn't like tattoos.

So, be a true christian that wants to please God, and refrain from getting one.

If people want to mark up their skin with images that is up to them. If they are putting religious symbols on then they had better hope they don't become inspired to convert away from that religion some day. I guess my opinion is that it would be short-sighted vanity.

back in the day people used to have a cross stating that they were christians and they were followers of christ. i dont think that its wrong for people to get tattoos unless its you just want to bring attention for yourself.

Tattoos & religion shouldn't go together to begin with.

I'm not saying that getting a tattoo will send a person to hell (our sin will do that anyway without Christ).....what I am saying is that tattooing is pagan in nature
