If he does a really good job and you would like to have him come back in the future .You may want to think about tipping It could put you higher up on his list of "things to do" next time you need something.And who knows ,next time it could be something you need done right away.Just something to think about

No, you should not tip him for this service. HOWEVER, if he is a local handyman that does work for you often, it's a good practice to slip him a few bucks around Christmas as a "Thank You".
