"Revealed" religion must be false for it appears that God keeps changing his mind and making new covenents. First with the Hebrews of the Old Testament, all sorts of laws. Now suddenly that becomes obsolete with the coming of Jesus. Yet through interpretation or misinterpretation we find that Christians used the New Testament to persecute Jews throughout European history (which is a fact). But no, God yet made a new covenent and this time made Islam. Yet Islam does not accept Jesus as divine only a prophet and I suppose it is blesphemous in both Islam and Judaism to say that God is a man as Christians do with Jesus. All these religions appear to contain seeds that could lead to conflict if taken to extremes.

There are no revelations from God. There are no gods.
Though I disagree on whether science has replaced superstition. The Book of Mormons is a fairly recent attempt to add onto the Bible, so the tradition continues. There have also been myriad books to reinterpret existing "holy" books, such as the Bible and Quran.
The recent attempt to get creationism taught in schools and the stem cell debate are two further pieces of evidence that people still rely too much on superstition.
I think we are making progress, but it will still take time.

The ancients were very scientific and science has never replaced superstition... just veneered it over a bit.
And not all faiths are based on superstition. I'd say most corruptions are from the imperfection of man who has a propensity to use revelation for his own ends.

I think you need to dig a little bit deeper.
It is not necessarily the words (although some are very scary and dangerous), but the idea that people raise themselves above all others as prophets and messiahs.
That is the chain that must be broken. The end of messiahs, the end of people who claim, without being elected to represent god, allah etc and we must obey.
If this unbroken chain could just be broken...

God is Revealed to me through His Son Jesus Christ and I KNOW He is Revealed by my heart. There is nothing False about it to ME. The ONLY way one can learn the Truth is for the Lies to be Revealed and then one WILL KNOW the difference between them. The Fruit does not fall far from the tree. (It stopped when science replaced superstitian)?-- NO it Stops when the Truth IS MADE KNOWN.

there're thousands of documented cases of people rolling up at pilgrimage sites like jerusalem mecca, varanasi who claim to have been spoken to by god, gods, angels etc. mainly prophets are harmless twerps with a glitch in their brain chemistry. it was always the same ..... "a glowing light came to me" ..... "i heard the angel tell me" etc
