well, the third answer you got was right. there was some rivalry between the jews and christians back in the 5th centuary which made them short tempered, intolerant and not to forget crazy.

The Jews at the time of Jesus Christ do not believe the true and living God, yet they do not believe the teachings of Jesus and still they do not believe that Jesus is the son of God so that they nailed him to the cross to punish Jesus Christ which caused His death.
