Isn't this the most stupid argument, a Christian might give?
I'm not referring to Jesus the carpenter from Galilee. There is historical proof that he existed. I am referring to Jesus as a God.

Sorry , it's your analogy that is poor. You don't judge the validity of a book, by how much it sells or how many languages it gets translated to.
Take Harry Potter for instance.
Or take Gibran's "the prophet". Both have been read widely and been translated to many languages.
If now, someone comes up with a book that tells how to get rid of cancer, it will be translated to many languages and sold in every corner in the world. I can even assure you that will outshine the bible as well.
Allow me to tell you my friend, that you are SUPERFICIAL.

You know how it is ... if the Bible says so, it must be true because it's in the Bible and we know the Bible is the truth because it says so in the Bible.

I am Christian, but I do see the nonsense, in trying to persuade something who does not believe in any supernatural to believe the supernatural descriptions of the Bible. A person must acknowledge that such things as possible, before I would even try to have them read the Bible.

However, the Bible does have some accurate ancient Hebrew historical accounts, and some of the accounts of the early Church are most likely accurate. So the Bible is entirely fictitious like Snow White.

Nothing in the bible is fact. Anything that may have been was ripped apart and "interpreted" by the Church. I actually think Snow White may have more fact in her story, but that's just my opinion.

For example, my favorite "interpretation" is the Mormon's version. You know, some guy finds some golden tablets that just appeared somewhere in the middle of Utah. And boom, everyone can have mulitple wives.

I'd rather eat the poisoned apple.

i agree...
but there is so much evidence that god exists outside the bible, such as those christians that die for god's sake.

you should read some stories about martyrs.
and there are probably some of those people at school that you see that act really nice, and always carry a bible around with them.

hope that helps as a better form of evidence...
god bless, and open your heart...

Well, you'd have to read certain parts of the Bible. The rest of the book will not support their argument. Most of what they base the divinity of Jesus upon are the letters of Paul of Tarsus, a man who never knew Jesus.

Yes, it is a horrible agument, even when the Bible doesn't support them very strongly.

Yes, it is the same, but it is not stupid. We have yet to learn the true power of our mind. The miseries of this world is caused by our miserable minds. Snow White is telling us that we can make fairy tales happen. About Jesus being God, Jesus even told us "You are all gods." Can you hear the message?

Listen to your heart. What is "stupid" is people confessing to be Christians with wicked ways telling you to "read the Bible." And you look at them and think, "If that's "Christianity I don't want it." Another feather (if you will) in the cap of Satan. He is succeeding in clouding the minds and hearts of our youth. There is a spiritual interpretation in God's word that without faith cannot be understood. So I answer you, don't read the Bible; not yet. You haven't had enough pain and heartache to truly seek a living God. But one day you will ...

It's not quite the same...
Jesus is a historical figure in Jewish History. Read the historical record by Josephus Flavius.

No.

I am sure other arguments could be viewed as more stupid...much like this quasi-question. Another example of selective inbreeding.

Jesus is God, The Most High and judge of this world.

Bringing judgment to our planet soon!

Yeah! I get a little stumped though when one of them points out Jesus exist I saw an article about him in the National Enquirer. You know every time he appears he is guaranteed a cover on that old rag sheet.

faith comes by hearing the word of God...
honestly...when i read the Bible i feel something that i cannot describe...something inside me says this is true and i feel convicted......
i dont feel that with anything else

dont u ever notice how supernaturally people fight Jesus? no other religious figures...just Jesus. something that causes so much angst stirs the soul.....it's the same Spirit that witnesses to you when you read the Bible...if u read it and you dont feel anything then you are resisting the Spirit...but obviously you feel it if u feel convicted enough to attack Christians
therres something supernatural going on there
God still wants you and loves you and thats why you have such agnst...you're fighting it...and i know you can feel it
