You feel vulnerable. This is a very common manifestation of basic insecurities. If you suppress your anxieties during the day, they probably show up in your dreams as an outlet.
If your dreams cause your sleep to be restless and unproductive, try exercising more during the day. Also, don't eat too close to bedtime and cut down on caffeine and sugary drinks in the second half of the day.
As for the anxiety, regularly talk with a good friend about what things cause you anxiety. Don't forget to let them talk about themself also.

It is an expression of intense sexual desire. It could also stand for the fact that you have felt violated in some way. IF you can see the person raping you that means that this is the person who has violated you in some way.

To dream that you have cancer, denotes hopelessness, grief, self-pity, and unforgiveness. You feel you are wasting your life away. This dream also represents areas in your life which are bothering you, disturbing you, and hurting you in some emotional way.

To dream that you are shot, represents a form of self-punishment that you may be unconsciously imposing on yourself. You may have done something that you are ashamed of or are not proud of.? If you are shot and come back as a different person, then it indicates that? you to start fresh. You want to wipe the past away and literally become a new person.

To dream that you die in your dream, symbolizes inner changes, transformation, self-discovery and positive development that is happening within you or in your life. Although such a dreams may bring about feelings of fear and anxiety, it is no cause for alarm and is often considered a positive symbol. Dreams of experiencing your own death usually means that big changes are ahead for you. You are moving on to new beginnings and leaving the past behind. These changes does not necessarily imply a negative turn of events. Metaphorically, dying can be seen as an end or a termination to your old ways and habits. So, dying does not always mean a physical death, but an ending of something.

On a negative note, to dream that you die may represent involvement in deeply painful relationships or unhealthy, destructive behaviors. You may feeling depressed or feel strangled by a situation or person in your waking life. Perhaps your mind is preoccupied with someone who is terminally ill or dying. Alternatively, you may be trying to get out of some obligation, responsibility or other situation.

having dreams about death doesn't necessarily mean that you or someone close to you will die. Dreams are massages send from your mind to your brain, sometimes they are not what they seem and you have to think hard about every detail before you can figure out its meaning. It may be that you are in a situation or going through a problem that it very difficult for you. You feel so stressed out, like your dying. you feel that you have no control over your emotions and that others have complete control over you. they control how you feel, they can make you scared, they can make you run away, they have to power to say whether or not you die, and how you die. Dreaming of death could mean that you are scared. That yo u dont know whats going to happen next, so u expect the worst. Sometimes it can be veiwed as a bad thing and other times as a good thing. It all depends on the details of the dream, who was in it, where you were and whether or not they connect with anything going on in your life.

Sometimes these dreams are called--"the calling cards". They serve a very important purpose. They are short and easy to remember, and they force us to think about them upon awakening and sometimes for a long while afterward. Think for a moment, whom do you know that died from a gun shot, from a cancer, and so on. Was it someone close to you, or some famous person, or was it an idea of illness and dying, or a wide open concept of life and death.
What this person, or idea mean to you? Perhaps your old way of thinking needs an update? If yes, it seems to be timely now.
Often, we learn to value what we seem to lose. If you fear death, as your dreams seem to indicate, what you can do about death, or dying? Not much, but you can learn to appreciate your life more; you can live every day as if it was your last day on Earth, and you can express more gratitude for your life and for all that you have. It should make you feel happier than thinking about the people and/or things that are missing in your life. Thus, calling cards tell us that now is the time to evaluate and change our attitude towards life, our outlook on life or just on some aspects of our life. Thank you for sharing your dream and its valuable message.

Remember, at the core of all your dreams, it is you that make them up in your unconscious mind. When people dream they die, it means they want to run away from a problem they just don't want to deal with. It is a problem that seems so big it has no solution. However, getting raped and killed suggests that you think you have caused the problem and need to be punished. It is always best to bring the issue out in the open to deal with it. It may be something you said to a friend that caused them to distrust you. It might be a secret love for someone who is in love with someone else. Check out your feelings and see what it is. Death is rarely a bad omen. Dreaming of being dead means the end of your worries and the start of a new era in your life. Speak to the dead and you'll get good news. Someone elses death can mean a birth or a small warning for you to slow down. Death of an absent friend predicts a wedding. Happiness is in the cards if you see a dead person afloat.

Simply control your passions if you see yourself killed in an airplane disaster.

Guns: If a gun kills someone then its time to put an unpleasant period of life behind you and start fresh. If YOU fire a fatal shot then you are in for a disappointment with the opposite sex.

Rape: Careless behavior could cost you your repuatation Think careful or you are bound to disappoint people.

Hope this helped..

I loved your additional details! (Tell us how you really feel, why don't you....only kidding). Seriously, though, i have had dreams like the ones you described (except for the rape), and usually they occur when I am stressed out about something in my life...maybe something at work. Usually, they occur when I am torn over a decision I have to make regarding a tough situation. Why we dream these things is beyond me. Let me share a recent one. I dreamed I was being chased by zombies and I was the last one on the plannet. No matter where I went , they would appear and start coming after me. (How that really relates to what I was going through at work, I don't know). At work, I had a situation come up where I needed the backing of my boss. She said she was 100% behind me, but when some big shot influential person complained, she quickly abandoned the cause and left me hanging by myself. For a few weeks it was very stressful as I tried to determine my next move. In time, I resolved it and came out on top. While it was going on, though, I was stressed out, worried and felt deserted...being pursued by the zombies in the dream, i guess was symbolic of that stress I was going though. I say this because when the situation was resolved, I had no more dreams of zombies comming after me.

On the other hand, some might say I was seeing into the future!!!!! God, I hope not! Scary. Good luck working through yours!

Personally I think that people die in their dreams not because they are going to physically die but that their body or their subconciousness is trying to alert them to a change in their psychi or their behavior or personalitity. Sometimes I think massive stress can cause a person to dream of death. When I get really stressed I have dreams that I am falling off the edge of the Grand Canyon but I always wake up before I die. Just my personal thoughts on the subject.

personally, i believe these dreams suggest an inner power struggle that is manifested from pressures in the outside world. meaning, you have no control. you are the victim in these dreams and that's very apparent. because the degree of the dreams - you saying that they are very dramatic - shows that you feel very vulnerable; powerless - not in control. reflect in your life at the current moment. what stressors are you feeling victimized by? work? relationships? take control of your life; find a balance and tell yourself that you are not a victim. once you get a hold of your life in the outside world, then it will reflect on the inside world.

yet, there could have been an event in your past that may have left you feeling victimized. delve in deep to find the "what". once you find that, you can work on the "how" to fix it.

Do you watch violent or gory shows like CSI Miami or NCIS , or CSINY? It might be that your subconscious mind is sort of replaying brief moments from those shows as a dream with you in the dream instead of the character in the story.Try cutting back on violent movies and shows for a while and see if that helps.
